About the Friends
The Friends of the Sedona Library supports Sedona Public Library as it strives to encourage literacy, lifelong learning, and the love of reading throughout our diverse community. The Friends group enhances the Library’s resources, increases the community’s access to information and knowledge, helps provide a vibrant cultural gathering place, and cultivates a sense of public involvement through volunteering for the community.

The Friends Book Store
The Friends of the Sedona Library operates a used book store in the house adjacent to the Library. You can support the Library by donating your books and more to this location at 3270 White Bear Road. Your donation may be tax deductible, and you will receive a receipt at the time of drop off; however, we can’t assign a dollar value to your gift.
Donations we like
- Gently used hardcover and paperback books, fiction and nonfiction, for children and adults
- Antique or collectible books regardless of condition, including first editions and autographed copies
- Commercially recorded DVDs and audiobook CDs
Please do not give us
- Magazines and magazine-like materials
- Audio cassettes, VHS, and music CDs
- Highlighted or underlined books
- Reader’s Digest Condensed Books
- Textbooks
- Travel guides or investing books older than five years

Book Store Hours & Contact
Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.

We’re always in need of volunteer help! Volunteers need not spend more than a few hours a week helping. Whether you are in high school or are retired, if you have extra time on your hands, we can certainly use you!
The Friends of the Sedona Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Donations and memberships are deductible to the full extent allowable by law.
