You’re missing out!) She’ll keep you entertained and connected. Stop by and say “hello” to the library’s newest staff member—she’s guaranteed to make your day even better!
Enjoy Christina’s responses to the introductory questions we ask all our new library staff.
Where were you born?
“I was born in Sedona, Arizona.”
What was your first job?
“My first job was at Sedona International Film Festival where I sold concessions at the theater and was a VIP host. (I still am because I can’t escape LOL!) My first official job besides that was as a radio DJ in Cedar City, Utah. Talk to me about music and I will love you forever. My favorite artists (the ‘trifecta’ as I call them) are Adam Lambert, Aerosmith, and Midland.”
What book most influenced you and why?
“Tough question! I’ll name two. The first is, ‘It Ends With Us’ by Colleen Hoover because it is the book that got me back into reading. However, the book I still think about all the time is ‘Flawless’ by Elsie Silver. Yes, it’s spicy, and yes it has cowboys in it. Need I say more?”
Are you on Team Dog or Team Cat and why?
“I am allergic to both, but I would say Team Dog. When there was an active shooter at my college campus, I hid out with my friend, and her dog never left my side. I think she could tell I was shaken up.”
Have you ever seen a ghost or a UFO?
“I have seen a few ghosts . . . if you want to know more just ask. However, I have never seen a UFO.”
Not only is the library the best place to make a connection, to gather around the fire, or to try out your line dancing skills – now you can shudder to Christina’s ghost stories, too! So, the next time you visit the library make sure to stop by to introduce yourself, catch a spooky tale, and if you’re really daring, offer to be in one of our viral social media reels that Christina creates! They’re amazing! It’s a guaranteed chance to be in the spotlight and show the world how imaginative, unique, and adventurous our community truly is!
