Your support helps Sedona Public Library provide free access to the books, technology, programs and services we offer to Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek, and the Verde Valley. With your generosity, we can continue to be here for all of our Red Rock community.

Is this donation tax deductible?
Sedona Public Library is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We’ll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

Do I get a receipt?
A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide on this form. You will also receive a hard copy acknowledgement letter for your records.  Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt or letter for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each month when your donation is processed online, and one acknowledgement letter at the beginning of the next calendar year.

How does SPL use funds?
Funding from the City of Sedona and both Yavapai and Coconino Counties provides a portion of our operating costs. Your generosity fuels our most important work. Our funds go directly towards supporting the life-transforming services and programs we offer to all within our community.

Can I make a stock gift
Donating shares of stock is a simple and cost-effective way to support Sedona Public Library. The total value of the stock upon transfer to the Library’s account is tax-deductible, and there is no obligation to pay any capital gains taxes on the appreciation. Can I donate from a private foundation or donor advised fund (DAF)?
Yes, many of our donors take advantage of these opportunities. For more information, please contact our Development Director.

Can I also support the Friends of the Sedona Library?
Yes, we encourage you to support the Friends of the Sedona Library. They provide a large annual gift to the Library and often support small special projects. They make these gifts from the revenue they receive from annual memberships, book sales (online and in their bookstore at 3240 White Bear Rd., adjacent to the Library Courtyard), and your gifts. Who are Our Sponsors?

Many of our programs and spaces are supported by individuals or local businesses with gifts of cash or product for our programs. Storytime, Summer Reading Programs, Summer Theater are just a few of the programs that have received this type of support. Legacy Giving

Your contribution ensures that programs, books, learning, and our beloved libraries will remain an important part of our community’s fabric for generations to come. You do not need to be wealthy to leave a legacy gift. Donations of any size can make a significant impact in providing for the Library’s future. Consider putting the Library in a bequest, an IRA qualified distribution, or as a beneficiary in an insurance policy. There are many options! Sedona Public Library, its employees, and representatives do not offer legal or financial advice.
